Origin Story
I have always been drawn to the natural world. Plants, animals, the quiet rhythm of things growing and changing without force.
When I turned 35 in 2015 and started to notice changes in my skin, I did not reach for more products. I went looking for answers.
That search led me to the Oil Cleansing Method, long before it became mainstream. At the time, it felt like discovering something quietly powerful. A way of caring for skin that made sense. Less stripping, more supporting. Around the same time, I was reading Crunchy Betty, which opened the door to a more thoughtful approach to ingredients and daily care.
Simple Rituals started there. Not as a brand, but as a shift in how I treated my skin.
I wanted to stop using products that did not align with what I believed. So I started formulating. Testing. Paying attention.
Then something unexpected happened. Friends began using what I made and their skin changed too.
That was the moment I knew this needed to be shared.
What started as a personal experiment has turned into a ten year education in business, finance, design, resilience, rejection and growth. It also brought me back to myself, sometimes made me crazy and has always come down to clarifying what I stand for as a human being.
Simple Rituals is not about chasing trends or releasing endless products.
It is about offering a complete and intentional system. Tools that support your skin instead of disrupting it. A way to work with your biology instead of trying to override it.
I believe your skin knows what to do. It just needs the right environment.
You will not find a crowded shelf here. That is intentional.
Every product has a purpose. It earns its place. If something new is created, it is because it adds real value and not because it fills a gap on a shelf.
