Carrot seed essential oil is steam distilled from the seeds of the Wild Carrot, also known as Queen Anne's Lace, not the traditional carrot on our dinner plates. 

 

Carrot seed wins when it comes to anti-aging. It has Vitamin A to help repair, Vitamin C for collagen building and Vitamin E for sealing in moisture! This essential oil contributes to less visible sun damage, scars tissue, acne and stretch marks. It's really good for us! 

Carrot seed oil is excellent for balancing oil production (kind of like jojoba!) making it likely to be a beneficial ingredient to most skin types. We consider it to be a simple effective skin soother and it is in both our Cleanse and our Nourish.
